Axes3D.text(x, y, z, s, zdir=None, *, axlim_clip=False, **kwargs)[source]#

Add the text s to the 3D Axes at location x, y, z in data coordinates.

Parameters:
x, y, zfloat

The position to place the text.

sstr

The text.

zdir{'x', 'y', 'z', 3-tuple}, optional

The direction to be used as the z-direction. Default: 'z'. See get_dir_vector for a description of the values.

axlim_clipbool, default: False

Whether to hide text that is outside the axes view limits.

Added in version 3.10.

**kwargs

Other arguments are forwarded to matplotlib.axes.Axes.text.

Returns:
Text3D

The created Text3D instance.
